💧Women need at least 2L per day and men about 3L.
💧If you feel irritable, tired or dizzy; your urine is dark and smelly; or your lips and mouth feel dry or sticky, you might be dehydrated. 💧Sustained dehydration can decrease your blood pressure, increase heart rate and respiratory rate, and reduce blood flow to your extremities. 💧Getting enough fluids keep you healthy and energized, controlling your body temperature, aiding digestion, carries nutrients around the body, regulates bowels and cushions organs and joints. 💦 My top tips for getting enough fluids • start and finish the day with a glass of water • have a glass of water after each meal • keep a water bottle on your desk, in your bag and in your car • if you don’t like water, try tea, adding a little sugar free cordial, or some fresh fruit 💦
