β€’β€’ Hot lemony goodness βœŒπŸ»πŸ‹πŸΆ β€’β€’ I just love how fresh this little guy has stayed, in my pretty @honeybeewraps 🐝🌻 In July, I decided to start my mornings a little, well, more calmly. I wanted them to be a time when I could stop and think about what I wanted to achieve that day or week, and really get myself focused. This isn't necessarily work related either - and as much as my patients are my priority at work, I can't look after them unless I look after myself first. Lemon (home grown from my very own little tree - a housewarming present from my beautiful dad), and hot water became my way to do that! Plus I'm rehydrating my body FIRST THING after depriving my little cells of fluids all night. What are your morning rituals? πŸ’› Happy weekend folks!

Lentils and beans were SUPER cheap this week at @woolworths_au so I'm making the most of it! As @andrew_hall_nutrition says, meal prep means: "think once, cook once, clean once". I'm all about cleaning less!

This was my late brekky after a big early morning walk, a trip to the markets and a coffee. Beautifully cooked and absolutely explosive flavour! It was so nice to enjoy my meal while I scribbled away in my little leather "ideas book" at a big share table in northern New South Wales. I must admit. I'm still full! Trying to embrace more mindful eating practices into my own daily life, I finished the day off with a little fruit, yoghurt and nuts for dinner. One. Happy. Gal. Happy Sunday folks! 😘

Last night I went out for dinner and got barramundi with a pea risotto, it was sooo good. Barramundi is packed full of Omega-3 fatty acids, which is a "healthy fat". It's been linked to soo many health benefits such as lowered cholesterol, brain health & cancer prevention.
