Had a bit of a scare last night. Our #sheep got out and ended up on Route 6. The locals will KNOW how scary that is! 😱 Route 6/River Road West is a 55mph zone that is highly trafficked. It's a disaster waiting to happen. To make matters worse, it was dusk.
But, alas, God is good and made those sheep heed this shepherdess' voice. As soon as they heard me, I tell you the truth, the entire flock's heads whipped over to my direction. And upon seeing me, they came running to safety. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
This is one of those moments I was SO GLAD they listened to me, unlike when they're in the comforts of their pasture. In those moments, they could absolutely care LESS about my trying to call them in. 🙄😑 After the drama of it all, everybody is safe and sound. I believe the last time I saw Lambie that excited to see me was during her bottle lamb years. 🍼 #givingmegreyhair
On a good note, we had chicken fried steak for dinner. 😋 #thisisfarmlife
