I worked a double shift today and struggled to find the motivation to train after work... The fiancé said he would train with me which had me feeling a bit more motivated... Nek minut black out at the gym 😂I finished work at 7pm and after walking around trying to figure how to get my car out of the garage without any electricity 🤔 the lights magically flickered back on and instead of going home, we went back and trained instead! 💪🏼

{ Foodie Fridays } Is honey really as good (or bad) as some people say? 🐝🍯🐝 Well, it depends. Honey is high in calories due to the sugars within but these sugars tend to be low GI which means they are the "slow burning" and better for you than higher GI foods. Certain types offer more benefits than others so it's recommended you choose yellow box, stringy-bark and ironbark honeys for lower GI options. Honey, especially manuka, is also said to be antiseptic and antibiotic. So what should you do? A drizzle over your breakfast is really not going to do you any harm... and if it gets fussy eaters (kids, I am looking at you) to eat healthier foods like oats then it can't be too bad!
