{ Foodie Fridays } Carbs... feared but are they largely misunderstood? 🍞πŸ₯πŸ₯ž Anyone who has tried to go carb free will know it REALLY is a bad idea. It makes you (seriously) cranky! But worse, it's bad for your health. Cutting out carbs significantly reduces your metabolism, causes muscles to breakdown and affects your ability to concentrate. The key is to choose the "right" carbs - opt for wholegrain alternatives (bread, pasta, rice), barley, lentils, chickpeas, quinoa, bananas, and sweet potatoes over refined, white breads, pastas & sugars.
