14 i hate social media but I refuse for black women/ #afrolatina women to be without representation. I want people to understand that dark skin is beautiful. Natural hair isn't unprofessional. You don't have to be stick thin to be beautiful nor do you have to have tits and ass. It begins and ends with your soul. Sometimes we are inundated by so called archetypal examples of beauty whether it be magazines, media, or those around us who are convinced there is a standard. The idea that beauty has a standard is archaic in nature because true beauty encompasses many facets. Beauty is diverse. Beauty is like art. When you see a great piece of artwork the most impressive thing about it is how it resonates with people in different ways.
