Goraasa be Dama: a Sudanese beef stew served over a quick & easy flatbread! The recipe is on the blog at dietassassinista.com/blog (link in bio!). A little over a month ago, I received an e-mail in my Diet Assassinista inbox asking me to make Sudanese food from @moyassar_2001. With Moyassar’s suggestion, I knew that I would be in for a treat and have the opportunity to travel some more through food! And honestly, it really was a treat. The stew and flatbread were super easy to make, and the flavors are similar to a Western beef stew, but just a bit different enough to take your tastebuds to a different place! Definitely check out the recipe if you’d love to make something new. On a related, but different note, if you also love to travel through food, please check out @abbagotravel’s IG! He has a really neat Israel-based travel company that includes culinary and cultural adventures! Definitely worth checking out, especially if like me, you’d love to travel above and beyond cooking up Israel’s delicious food, and visit in the flesh someday!
