For years, I suffered with migraines and it turned out it was a peanut intolerance (aflatoxins!). I’m not one to take meds unless my head is about to explode, but I did find some natural remedies that helped with tension and migraine headaches. ✔️Hydrate. Use a base of coconut water and banana for potassium, add a pinch of sea salt for sodium, and a handful of soaked almonds or avocado for magnesium. ✔️Peppermint. Use an essential oil mixed with a carrier oil, like olive or grape seed, on your temples and back of your neck for its calming and numbing qualities. ✔️Avoid trigger foods, like refined sugar, peanuts, diary or gluten. Try an elimination diet to rule out the cause of your headaches. That’s how I figured out my migraine issue!
✔️Circulate. I’m referring to your blood and your air flow. If you’re sitting at a desk all day, watch your posture, get up every 30mins and circulate your blood, see a #chiropractor, and take your breaks outside for fresh air. Really important!!
