Hanging out with Divas Day Out I got a chance to tour the black archives in FAMU campus and tour the Foster Tanner Fine Arts Gallery. The suprise was meeting the artist La Von Van Williams and viewing his Going Down South exhibition in the fine arts building. It was the best wood carving art I've seen in a while or ever. Check out his website www.lavonsfolkart.com I also had a change to tell some of the history of a thriving black neighborhood here in Tallahassee called Smokey Hollow. Thank you @awalkingbrand for inviting me out to speak at Cascades Park and The Signature Lounge.
