🔊Thank you again & again to everyone who showed so much support for us as we tried to gather as many votes as possible for our most recent fitness challenge! 🙌💖 Unfortunately, we did NOT bring home a second win this time around--but honestly, we are having a hard time believing that we didn't officially earn the most popular votes; you all were so amazingly persistent, and we KNOW we had thousands of votes pouring in! 🗳️.

You know, Chris & I have no plans of quitting, that's for sure. 💖🌱🏋️🌟 We were really, REALLY happy with the results we achieved again with this challenge (and it was waaayyy more than a physical transformation...see previous & upcoming posts about what we gain from staying fit) 😊 But, challenge or no challenge...Health & Fitness is definitely our thing--it's what has drawn us closer together. We love any challenge, and are working toward our new, ever-changing goals.

With the upcoming triathlon season 🏊🚴🏃 approaching, we know have lots of room for improvement in speed and endurance especially, so we're ready for some new training plans, and we feel stronger now more than ever before! 💪. .

Yes....I have a "before" photo! 🙄 And, believe it or not, I thought I was actually pretty "fit" back then. I worked out a lot, I was a fitness instructor & even a personal trainer, but, really, I ate like crud and was afraid to push myself in my workouts ... It wasn't until after Joe was born that I did my first challenge with @erinstern5 & @oxygenmagazine. That's when I learned how to properly #fuelmyworkouts and started lifting heavy! I actually haven't had a gym membership in almost 10 years now. But, with the addition of #cleaneating #highproteindiet & #carbcycling along with #mixingup workouts with #hiits #sscardio #reps #sets and #restdays with @realheidipowell as my virtual #trainer for the #afcc1 & #afcc2 ... I have achieved WAY MORE than a physique (but I'll take that too) .... I feel pretty-much put-together in all aspects of my life! ❤️ #transformed #inmorewaysthanone

It might sound weird, but I actually love breaking my workouts into 2 sessions per day. Morning Accelerators (HIIT sessions) done in isolation from my lifts really have made adding in cardio more manageable!

I see and hear a lot of complaints when it comes to cardio. And I for one would much rather skip cardio vs. weight training, but the results are undeniable! And....the best part is... ANYONE can do this. It's NO MORE THAN 30 minutes total per day. And, until recently, it wasn't even that long!
I will share these workouts with you for sure! They're pretty much a "no-brainer" !!! 😉
