Alright so it’s just over a month post show and while I’m still holding shape the shreds are gone for the most part. I know a lot of people struggle with this after a show and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t but I went into it knowing and understanding this was going to happen. Maintaining that body fat percentage and hard dieting just isn’t going to happen and it isn’t healthy you’re going to crash and burn eventually lol. Accept the fact that the show is over and it’s time to GROW. That doesn’t mean fall off the wagon and get fucking fat. That means increase the calories and embrace the fullness and sick fucking pumps you’re now going to be having. Enjoy some good foods but in moderation. Off season dieting is just as important if not more important than contest prep dieting.
Shake off the negative things you’re telling yourself like oh I’m fat, I’m fluffy, I’m holding so much water (I’m guilty of it too) and tell your brain shut the f*** up. This is your time to improve and enjoy the sick fucking pumps.
