After listening to both Steven Furtick and Pastor Michael Todd, it really had me thinking... How many opportunities do you and I miss out of disobedience? Our only responsibility is to be obedient - to the seed we put in the ground. To making sure that seed has its right fertilizer, and water and to plow it... God is over the outcome and what we have tended to. Yet we get so scared for whatever reason, to NOT even be committed to our part.
It's TRULY OKAY to say to God "IDK HOW" - it puts you in a position to trust the process and let Him do HIM.
His ways are not OUR ways, His thoughts are NOT our thoughts! We are supposed to lean NOT unto our OWN understanding, but to acknowledge Him, so HE can direct our path.
Idk a lot of stuff and some days don't feel like I'm tasked to do this wellness stuff, but this position puts me in power to ride this rollercoaster. Am I the only one who can say "I don't know." #TBT what a time to be alive. I remember this season. I was traveling. Blogging. Assisting with taking care of my TBI brother, and reconnecting the dots in my life.
This was the discovery phase of just how powerful emotional hygiene and internal development was. I was intentional about the things I ate, the company I kept, I was constantly researching and exploring wellness products.. I was steady #BecomingHER.

Because of this season, it set the tone for how I should live & how my PURPOSE would find me. This critical moment that I could've taken for granted... I didn't. I was doing the hard work.. Still doing the hard work now behind the scenes. I was closer to God and my centeredness just...felt..right.

Happy Wellness Wednesday my chicks 😍

So lately my digestive system has been doing the most - by the most I mean constant stomach pain from food, not being able to keep food down, constant acid reflux, I mean just consistent discomfort ALL DAY! After a recent procedure and talking with my gastro doctor, he commended me on changing my lifestyle habits. As you know, I've been vegetarian-vegan for 2 months now. I didn't know WHY I felt so compelled to do it, but I see why now πŸ™ŒπŸ½ Anywho, all of this could have been prevented through the actions of what I chose to consume on a daily aka BETTER NUTRITIONAL HABITS. We live in a society where they stress protein, but not fiber. Yes protein builds you up, but what about your digestive system? What goes IN must comes out! Consuming a plant based diet has taught me the importance of pooping more than I consume protein. I mean we literally need fiber in order for our intestines to function.
I say this all to say, be educated on what you consume and try to incorporate more fiber-rich foods into your diet. More to come on my blog... but until then #BeWellChick #WellnessWednesday πŸ’•

Good morning! 2017 has been a YEAR of celebration - specifically celebrating other's milestones. From weddings, networking events, baby showers, births of new blessings (babies), birthdays, new businesses.. I have been celebrating others. And getting glammed UP okay? My face was beat this year πŸ˜‚

This has also been a year of figuring out just what I want & where I lie in the scheme of things aka my life's purpose. Be Well Chick LLC is just the beginning ❀

Not to mention being tried and tested internally & personally. OH.. especially professionally - y'all wouldn't believe what happened in Oct πŸ˜‚

I've tried this thing called dating (again) and yeah... God has said be single girl.. you're not ready πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ In the latter half of this year I'm enjoying being SINGLE & it's amazing πŸ™ŒπŸ½ After turning 27 this year, it has definitely been a challenge, but God is calling for me to be covered, to get covered, and prepare myself to give Him and IT my all. #YearofPreparation

I've learned to accept that it's still SOWING season. I cannot get to step 10 without first conquering steps 1-9 first.
