"By designing places that increase opportunities for people to connect, Ben Pell believe his work is participating in the act of strengthening networks and communities." -DESIGN IS magazine
Based in both Providence and New York, PellOverton Architects (@pellovertonarchitects) was co-founded by Ben Pell and Tate Overton in 2003. By playing color, lighting, and materials, PellOverton's designs encourage people to engage with their surroundings and interact with others within their physical environments.

PellOverton expanded Blue School into an adjacent, 1940’s-era frozen seafood warehouse. The design introduces a contemporary learning environment while preserving much of the building’s original Seaport character.
PellOverton was featured in the inaugural issue of DESIGN IS, the magazine produced by @designxri. Read more about the firm and their work at designisrhodeisland.com/design-is-magazine.
