Some More Good News!!!! Baby girl has flipped over 🙌🙌 Thankful for my amazing @birthfit trained friends @melbellsheff and @coach_lilbit for giving me suggestions. Apparently the Breech tilts, inversions, Massage, and chiropractic paid off!!! Now we just need her to move down and engage because she is riding mighty high!!! I stopped doing squats about two weeks ago because I noticed they were irritating my round ligaments and between weeks 34 and 36 it isn’t suggested if you have a baby in a Breech presentation. However since she flipped I added squats to my workout today and will be doing pelvic tilts which also help babies engage. Feeling super blessed and overwhelmed with all the good things happening for @zakward85 and myself!

30 weeks strong and it’s ‘bring baby to work day’ everyday!
# 🤰🏼What’s happening: Nothing new- seriously! I still feel great, still haven’t had any hormonal side affects or any of the usual symptoms reported at this stage. I’ve been commuting to the office several tones a week as I ramp up my new role and have had TONS of energy, walked close to 15,000 steps a day and worked out in the evenings. I’ve gained an overall 18lbs and am averaging a 1lb gain per week and embracing it!
# 🏋🏼‍♀️ Workouts: They just feel so good! I’ve been able to workout 6 days a week throughout pregnancy not out of obligation but because I FEEL great and feel even better when working out. I’m rocking overhead movements right now and staying pretty damn strong in my lifts. Baby boy enjoys them too 💙
# 🥑 Food: I have been LOVING making chia pudding in mason jars to take to the office with full-fat coconut milk, organic shredded coconut, almond butter and cinnamon. DIVINE! Drinking a lot more water of late which has evolved from around 1.5 gallons a day to almost 2. Mama is thirsty! Other than that it’s business as usual in my nutrient-dense, real food world!
# 👩🏼 Words of Wisdom: I’m trying to take a page from my own book and realize that stress is optional. The stress of having many things on my plate right now is simply a mindset shift I am making in to ‘I have all the time I need to accomplish the things I need to.’ I haven’t done the ‘nesting’ thing yet, literally haven’t shopped for one baby thing, haven’t prepared a nursery, etc. But- life continues and if he happens to arrive and the nursery isn’t set up- All will still be right in the world 😜

And as excited as I am, it's still a bit surreal. He could totally come late like my first one but I have a feeling he will be here sooner rather than later.

My workouts have been pretty sporadic the past week. Life has been chaotic and my energy has been low. I've been having to pick and choose where I spend my limited quantities of energy...and it's been mostly spent on my kids. Haha

But I'm home and back to my normal schedule and it feels SO good.

I'm also jumping back into my morning prayer time. Have you read #Fervent by @priscillashirer ?

I waited until the afternoon to workout to make sure I was feeling well and all the contractions that stopped last night were done for good. They were! So I pressed play and got it done. I feel so good after a great workout. I have to modify a lot during this particular workout because it is the hardest for me this phase. #27weekspregnant #activepregnancy #activepregnancy

Had a lovely family day playing in the garden this morning attempting to sunbathe whilst occupying Sonny. Hubby was off today so we had a few things to do in the afternoon then a family meal in the evening. Amazing how a little bit of sun makes everything a bit shinier ☀️ Especially here in NE Scotland where we get so much rubbish weather. I have a light box in the gym to help get some UV through the dark winter months but honestly I’ve no idea if it makes any difference.
I do know that you can’t beat a bit of good old sun and heat to make you feel a million times better. Mums - quick question, did anyone use a belly band and did you find it useful? Comment below 👇

This morning plans changed a bit and my workout had to get bumped. I was reworking my schedule trying to see where I'd fit it in and the mister said I could totally justify skipping it and said that I'll make up for it after, meaning after baby comes. Here's the thing though, as hard as it is to workout while hugely pregnant, mentally cope with watching your body expand beyond what you even think is possible, being active and working out makes me feel good and I'm so proud of myself for sticking with it!

Whatever you've got going on in life, you can use it as an excuse or use it as motivation. Choose the latter! We've all got things in life that we could let hold us back but it's so much more rewarding to acknowledge those hard things and navigate our way through them anyway. If you want it bad enough, create a way to get there. You are more capable than you might realize.

Now...not completely related, but... I can't stop playing numbers games in my head! I'm due in 42 days, which is really more like 35 because my doctor wants to induce me at 39 weeks. I'm too uncomfortable to want to stop her so I'll take the reduction in time. AND! If baby girl decides she wants to come early, but fully cooked, we could be looking at 28 or even 21 days! All of this basically means I'm nearly there guys. Soon I'm gonna have a cute little baby to spam your feeds with. I've gotta get my hospital bag packed in the next few weeks, it's been a while. Please give me all your suggestions for hospital packing, postpartum healing, must-have products, etc!
