This is a short preview sped up. . . 100% of proceeds of these online workouts that can be accessed anytime go directly to the families. It’s only $39 and if I could get everyone of my followers to contribute, think of the impact we could make to help get families who have lost everything to get back on their feet. Why exercise should be a part of your life well into your 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond...⠀ ⠀ Muscle strength declines an average of 30% between ages 50 and 70, with even greater losses after age 80.⠀ ⠀ Training tips for the older (and wiser) adults ;)⠀ ⠀ 1. Work on balance - Falls are the leading causes of injury in adults over 65. Make balance training and fall prevention a top priority.⠀ ⠀ 2. Allow rest days - The aging body needs more rest between sets and workout days to recover and rebuild muscles.⠀ ⠀ 3. Warm up gradually - Joints stiffen up as the body ages and they become less flexible. Allow adequate warm up (range of motion exercises or light cardio) to warm up the muscles and increase core body temperature.⠀ ⠀ #getfitwithnicd#active#activelifestyle#healthyactivelifestyle#activeforlife#castlemainelife
