Renee decided to take control of her health in mid 2016, joining the Better Body Project sessions we run from our facility in Bega. Renee was unmotivated, unhappy, overweight and was ready to find herself again. Fast forward 12 months and Renee is super strong (she smashed a 135kg deadlift in her first power lifting competition last week!), has dropped body fat, build lean muscle, but most importantly exudes confidence and belief in herself and what she can achieve. She trains with us 5-6 sessions per week and smiles and motivates others like the energetic teen I remember going to school with.
Mick initially jumped on board by participating in the online version of the Better Body Project. Following the exercise programs,nutrition and lifestyle advice from home, Mick quickly changed the shape of his body and found the energy he had been lacking. Mick joining the program also made it easier for Renee to implement the changes at home the she was learning about at the gym. Mick then decided to join our CrossFit Sapphire sessions at the gym and was hooked! CrossFit became the replacement for his love of team sports, from which he had recently retired. He now combines CrossFit Sapphire sessions with Better Body Project sessions, training 5 times per week. Mick has dropped fat, build lean muscle, continues to challenge himself, cooks healthy meals at home and is a great role model for his boys who he now has the energy to play and train with.
