#WakeUpWords: When it comes to fitness you need to recognize some biological realities. You may want to start eating healthy meals, like lean protein and vegetables, but if you’ve been living on fast food burgers, fries and brownies...like I used to consume on the daily...then that’s what your body is used to for fuel and that’s what it will crave.
Mother Nature is a nasty woman. We may want to change on a dime but it takes our bodies 4-6 weeks to stop craving the crap and start craving the new, better nutrition choices. That 4-6 weeks was like pure hell for me but once it passed, so did those high calorie/high sugar/high fat cravings.
If you’re just starting a new fitness lifestyle, don’t beat yourself up. Cut yourself some slack. Realize, recognize and receive the facts...knowing once you get over that withdrawal time window your body will work with you and things will be so much easier. 💪🏼💯
