Day 11: From Stuck on Paul to Almost Parallel 😻
I will try to take a pincha pic from today once I'm warmed up and after I eat....BUT! I was looking through my old pics trying to find a before pincha, and this comparison was too crazy not to share. I will disclaim this progress by saying I've also been doing daily backbends/shoulder openers since February, which has exponentially improved my mobility to be able to make shapes like the pic on the right! I highly recommend it 😍
Up until the beginning of June, I was dependent upon kicking up near a wall (or as you see in the February pic, a railing) and wouldn't take my legs too far behind my head in shapes like bow and arrow because I didn't know how to fall out and was deathly afraid. My back and shoulders were also super stiff.
Over the past 2 months, I have been able to work all of the shapes that used to scare me, and I've still never fallen into forearm wheel 😂😂 I just learned how to cartwheel out. No more Paul! No more limits except my own flexibility and strength. .
