I know you guys are all familiar with Stacy Cooper's band "Throwing Cooper: A Tribute to Live". And unless you've been living under a rock, never been to Fat Dandies Saloon on a Thirsty Thursday, or you haven't read the weekend section of of the Gurning Gazette in over a year, you've probably had Stacy strum some serious tunage your way as a solo act.
For those that didn't feel lightning crash recently, 2016 was a quiet year for Throwing Cooper.... they've been at a bit of a standstill since they played the "Live Music, Live" showcase in Dannonferd, and accidentally forgot all of their keyboard equipment on stage.
Since they couldn't play without keyboards, Stacy needed to find another way to quench his thirst for the stage. So he armed himself with an Ibañez acoustic and started booking some primo gigs as "Stacy Cooper: The Bad Attitude Bandit". He still plays the classic Live material he is best known for, but branched out a bit in his writing, including songs in his set by Sublime, the Chili Peps, and early Sublime With Rome. I took this photo as part of a press material package he's going to be sending out for his upcoming show at Bunfee's Coffees. It's this Saturday from 11am-11:40am if anyone wants to tag along. It won't sell out, but it'll be packed with a post Gurning Elementary basketball practice crowd. Also, I'm still legally not allowed to drive for another few weeks, so if you are going and wanna pick me up, let me know.
