I personally love working back because I've seen a HUGE improvement in my posture ever since I started training it. Ladies! 👸🏽 👸🏼Don't just work out your legs 😂 plus, a slightly wider back makes the waist look smaller ⏳ And Men 🙋🏻‍♂️🙋🏿‍♂️ I know everyday is arm & chest day, but give your back some love too!!! 😉

LAT PULL DOWN WITH ULTRA SLOW NEGATIVES- 3x12 at 120 lbs

I use lifting wraps bc the weakest link while training back is my wrist and grip. This allows me to work my back harder. I highly recommend these for Back and hamstring exercises. Just search "lifting wraps" on Amazon. Happy training 💪🏽

I've been doing lower body 2-3 times a week (mostly 3 🙄) and a little less upper body. Two days are glute focused and the other is leg focused. This has allowed me to build more mass on my legs and bum while in a caloric surplus. It's different for each person and some can build mass doing lower body only once or twice a week but I just couldn't. That being said, I do get sore every day I do lower body and I am recovered when I do the next lower day body. If I'm still sore, I'll only do 2 lower body days a week

I'm 5 feet tall so it doesn't give me a lot of space to put on mass without looking really bulky and stocky. Because of that, my upper body got to a point where I just looked ridiculous in my opinion so i'm not focusing so much on upper body isolations. On my upper body days, I've been combining several muscle groups instead of just one or two. This makes me more comfortable about myself and I don't hate myself when I look in the mirror

NO food group whatsoever will make you fat BY ITSELF.
Gaining weight comes from an EXCESS of food, whatever that is : an excess of fats, and excess of protein, even an excess of brocolis.
I know carbs have bad press but be smarter than that !! People try to look for ONE culprit to pretend they finally have found the Holy truth.
So yeah, don't do biscuits & cakes at every meal, but whole complex carbs are bae : think rye, sourdough bread; quinoa; and ofc the ultime bae, sweet potatoes 💍
So if you are not insulin resistant, and if you want to build some muscles, don't neglect your carbs 💅🏻

L'excès de poids n'est PAS et ne sera jamais causé par un seul et unique groupe d'aliments !
L'excès de poids vient d'un EXCES tout court. Que ce soit un excès de lipides, un excès de protéines, même un excès de légumes. C'est ça qui vous fera prendre du poids, pas les glucides ❌
Je sais que les féculents ont mauvaise presse mais soyez plus intelligent que ça ! Les gens essaient de trouver UN coupable pour prétendre avoir trouvé la réponse à nos problèmes.
Alors oui, les glucides simples comme les biscuits et le pain de mie ne sont pas vos meilleurs alliés, mais les glucides complexes comme le pain de seigle, le quinoa, les patates douces (owi 😍) sont bénéfiques, surtout si vous souhaitez construire du muscle !

4. #crowpose ( my arms were so sweaty by this set that my knees kept slipping down from my tri's 😅)
Then i work my way back down to first exercise!
Towards the beginning of the year i struggled even just holding the pike hold for 30 secs, now been incorporating all these exercises to keep building strength for wrist and #handstand 🤸 💪😁 #challengeyourself

NEW TOY!!!

1) Pretty sure I did 4 BILLION before we recorded this set so they aren’t nearly as pretty as the first few. But I’m so excited to keep working on these now!!

2) My boss made me laugh, so it was a double ab workout. 😂

So excited about this toy!

You can do this same ab combo with your feet on the seat of a rower but because that’s a bit higher, I always feel like it hits my upper abs and my shoulders more. This definitely engaged those lower abbies that are so freaking hard to target (along with upper and shoulders). I also really like this movement with my feet in TRX handles.

Definitely going to be doing more of these because my core needs some work!

And for those of you who ask for handstand tips - these are great for handstand progressions as well!
