I am feeling kinda nostalgic lately. So here is a quick pic, showing you how my gamer life started. I didn't buy the usual Tetris GameBoy bundle back then. I spent so many hours playing Tetris in the store, that I wanted to play s.th. else at home (and well, I thought I could always go back to the store and play there if I ever feel the urge to do 😂🤣). So one day, after months of convincing my parents that a console isn't as bad as they thought in first place, I was allowed to buy a GB of my own money. I chose the single GB and this 2 GameBoy games, which were on sale. Well, Spider-Man isn't the best game ever, but I had fun anyways. And man, I loved Rescue of Princess Blobette! I ended up saving 10 DM that day compared to the bundle price lol. Funny fact is that my dad, who was against the GB for months, wanted to have his own one one day later and he was the one to buy me tons of games after that 😂🤣. I am pretty sure I will never forget that day. What is your most impressive gaming memory?
Added some more Wii games to the collection. Stand out ones I can't wait to play are A Boy and His Blob and Trixie in Toyland. Artwork is so cool on the Trixie game. Anyone else like these titles? _________________________________
One of my goals for AGDQ this year was to learn a new speedrun, so I've been practicing A Boy and His Blob on the NES. I've got the route down now and completed the game with only one death, which means I can start timing runs soon 😮🕹️
Talk about a game that's hard as nails..! I had this with my #NES back in the early 90s, and a little 5/6 year old tomlad had absolutely no idea what the hell to do, but I certainly had a good time trying to figure it out!! I have since watched walkthroughs on YouTube and there's absolutely no chance I would have figured out how to complete this game back then... Or even now for crying out loud..! So many good memories playing this though, I used to be fascinated by the graphics, the music and the night time section of the game... No idea why the night time bit specifically but whatever.... Check it out if you have an NES... - - - #ABoyandHisBlob#TomladsGamesRoom#RetroGaming#RetroGamer#Nintendo#Gaming#GameRoom#NintendoCollector#TroubleOnBloblonia#DavidCrane
A Boy and his Blob is a very unique game with a great idea but poor execution. You play as a boy with an alien blob who has befriended you. The friendship flourishes as you spend time together and feed him jelly beans. The blobs planet is in trouble and you decide to help him him save it. The game is platformer mixed with puzzles as you can use the blob to turn into everyday things to help you figure out the puzzles. The graphics, music and sound effects aren’t the greatest but the gameplay is fun. I just wish that the execution was better because the blob can glitch out, get lost and sometimes won’t follow you. Overall I give this game a 6/10. #ABoyAndHisBlob#Nintendo#NES#VideoGames#Gaming#Games#Gamer#Classic#Retro#ClassicGames#RetroGames#8Bit#Handsome_Rob_7#Handsome_Rob_7_The_NES_Years
