We're at home in London now, where a delicious pile of pre-Christmas post had banked up behind our front door (there is no better time of year, post-wise). Between writing about our trip, and reading the copy of @countrylifemagazine I bought for the train, and opening the windows so we can hear the trees ruffling (and going blue with cold), I have summoned a Brigadoon-type delusion that we are still clutching toasting forks in Broadway.
13 years ago today I was sitting on Michael’s couch with my Abercrombie & Fitch, “If I kiss him will he stop talking?” baby blue tee. He looked over at me and said, “Hey, I have a question.” “Yeah?” I answered. “Will you be my girlfriend?” My answer was a big fat yes. And here we are 13 years later! Yes, we still celebrate this anniversary date, even more so than our wedding. I just can’t help it. Scroll to see us grow up over the years 🧑🏻👧🏼👨🏻👩🏼
. . 'Have you read anything beautiful lately? Do make sure to get hold of and read the books by Eliot, you won't be sorry.' (Vincent van Gogh in a letter to Theo van Gogh, March, 1878) . . Happy Birthday Mary Ann Evans aka George Eliot, 22nd November, 1819, and what fabulous advice from Vince. . . . . . . The perfect spot for a few chapters of Silas Marner, one of van Gogh's favourites. If you've read anything beautiful lately, please do share! . . Thanks @bunnywilliams_interiordesign for this gorgeousness... 🦄 😘
Together, we process, we learn, we grow. Together, we are stronger. Together, we can face anything. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am confident that together, we can withstand anything in our path ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So grateful for this man and all the people and experiences he has brought into my life. And grateful to be by his side in good times and in bad! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Moment captured by @ryanjohnsonphoto 💫
Over the last few years I have met people from all over the world. I have since developed a huge desire to see as much of the world as possible! So now I am living life on my terms and starting to see it. This was on the Ring of Kerry in Ireland and is just one of the many beautiful sights I expect to see during my travels! I do what I do so that I can have experiences like this. If you would like similar freedom then click the link in my bio and I will help guide you through the same steps I use!
Happy Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for? I’m thankful to be able to travel the world more than most, for my health, and for my wonderful family and friends. And Instagram! Who would’ve thought making internet friends turned real life friends would become such a normal thing to do? Also family time is hard, so good luck today!
There is so much I'm thankful for, but today I'm most thankful for YOU! Whether we've met a handful of times, are lifelong friends, speak regularly, or far between, I truly treasure our interactions. We are far more interconnected than we realize, and I want to thank you for challenging me to be a better person in every way, shape, and form. #Thanksgiving#Mahalo#ClearMindsFullHearts
