5. Tricep dips x 30sec Ss walking plank x 30sec

2. Bent over fly into rows {4 rounds of 10-15}

FLEXIBILITY AND MOBILITY WARM UP✔️

👏🏻 I've been asked frequently for a video of my warm up routine. Properly warming up before starting intense exercise is crucial. I focus on an active, dynamic warm up before exercise and wait to stretch statically until after. 🙌🏻 From using this warm up, I've noticed a huge difference in my workout performance range of motion, and decrease in soreness. This has especially helped me loosen up before long runs! Try it out😎

#ThrowbackThursday to the birth of my second son, Adam, to now. 💙

My second pregnancy and delivery were by far my hardest. They were incredibly different from my first pregnancy when I worked full-time as a special education professor, went to the gym regularly, kept up with most of my regular fitness routine, and delivered without complications. The second time around I was home with my one year old, had morning sickness for the first 4 months, felt exhausted keeping up with a toddler, and I developed pre-eclampsia when I went into labor. Fortunately, my baby Adam and I recovered well, but it was an eye opening situation to have such different experiences only 19 months apart.

Learning to juggle two babies so close in age, at very different milestones, while entering the terrible twos, was easily the hardest stage for me so far. I didn’t bounce back after my second pregnancy, it was probably closer to a crawl, but that was okay because I was moving forward.
.
For the mothers who can’t find the energy to be as active as they want to be during pregnancy or after delivery, I’ve been there. For the mothers who are struggling to stay on top of the demands a family brings, I’ve been there. For the mothers who have days they are fighting back tears because they feel overwhelmed and are falling short, I’ve been there. Behind this smile are many of the same challenges so many parents face. Although we don't all share the exact same experience on this journey, there are many common threads. Baby steps have moved me forward for progress, not perfection. These steps have made me stronger, healthier, more confident to take on the day, and most of all happier. These things didn't happen overnight. They happened with small steps forward every day.

I'm not bouncing back after losing my @bwmcfitness @instagram account, but I am taking steps each day to get answers and determine the purpose of this experience. Thank you to each and every one of you for your amazing support!

Parenthood is quite a journey, but if we pace ourselves, we will make the climb a great one! 💕🙏

If you're performing any kind of cable abduction movement and wondering why it doesn't feel so good (i.e. glute engagement is lacking), might I suggest you stop messing around with cuffs, handles, or anything else aside from the @iprfitness ISO Thigh PRO. Here, with a bent knee, I'm able to pull twice the weight for as many reps. And the burn...feels so good.

This workout was completely core focused but most of the moves were done standing up 🙌🏻....

The second photo is from 2015 going to the gym here and there but literally eating whatever I wanted which included really greasy foods most of the time. Now I feel like my mindset in the gym as well as my everyday life is completely different than what it used to be. -

A couple months ago I was a super HUGE macro counter which was great for me at the time, But not really ideal for me because I wasn't prepping for anything. Currently I would say I'm more of an intuitive eater but still aware of my P/C/F. -
