Sometimes you meet someone who you just vibe with. You have similarities in your background, you have the same feelings about life and philosophy, and you seem to pick up on the others thoughts and feelings. I must tell you how amazing @patriceseklau is. A few years ago she rode the greyhound bus from Baton Rouge to Alexandria to stay with me for a few days for some photo shoots. The ride to my house, that should have been ackward was filled with talk of upbringings, emotional scars, and philosophy. We talked most of the night, did yoga, played with the kids, and hiked through the woods to shoot with hawks and in abandoned ruins the next few days. We went our separate ways after and then we go through chance to meet up again this week the metamorphosis this girl has undergone. From not sharing her music to satisfying me in an abandoned church by sharing her newest music to her approach and thinking on life topics...just amazing. I look forward to many more years of friendship and watching her blossom.
