It’s funny, isn’t it; how numbers make us think. One year, five years, ten. One minute, seven days, three hundred and sixty five. Ten, twenty one, thirty. We put such significance on them.
The time passes, the years go by, and every now and then we stop and reflect.
I’m surprised at the significant reflection this number has sparked in me. Thirty years. Ten thousand nine hundred and fifty days. How many of them sad? How many filled with worry, self doubt and insecurities? How many spent concerned with the actions or words of others? Too many.
Time passes by so very quickly. People leave just as quickly as they came. Opportunities come and go. Nothing is infinite.
The only time that matters is the here and now. This moment. Not yesterday, not tomorrow. Live each moment as it comes, and if you find yourself dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, stop, pause, let it wash away and start again...
