#throwbacktuesday back to my #nottooyoungtorun candidate.
@adaora_o has always been a voice to the voiceless, through Media platforms. She is a News caster, a lyricist and spoken words artist amongst other things. You can hear her pain about the plight of Nigeria through some of her poetry( that is story for another day) 😊. The desire to tackle the issues and the decay in the #grassroot came up after the Nigerian flood of 2012. A flood that killed a lot of people. She became torn and had to do something so YellowJerrycan Save A Life Foundation was born.. You are wondering why YellowJerrycan right?
Well a baby was abandoned in a Yellow Jerry can by a mother during the flood (that is also story for another day)
She started the NGO in 2013 and in the last 5 years, she has been working and is still working with Women & children in the IDPs & in the rural communities.... She understands their needs, the can feel their pain, she has the passion, the carriage, the platform to bring sustainable change.
Story continues... #nottooyoungtorun #nottooyoungtoruncandidate #imostate #owerri #Nigeria #nigeriadecides #okigwe #southeast #womaninpolitics #womanappreciation
