Adding on lean muscle mass is really a simple process, but many people who want to sell you their programs make it seem super difficult!
From my experience, all it takes is a little bit of discipline! I’ll tell you my SECRETS TO SUCCESS.
1️⃣ Download MyFitnessPal and start tracking your meals for a week to see your average caloric intake for the week
2️⃣If you have a Fitbit/Apple watch, use it to see how calories you burn in a week!
3️⃣Change your diet to make sure that per week, you are eating 3500 calories or more than you are burning per week!
4️⃣Make sure your calories aren’t from sugary ass foods! Try to not drink soda too often or energy drinks or eat a lot of simple sugars!
5️⃣A 50-30-20 bulking split, I always aim to get 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight, but that is more advanced. If you’re just beginning, you should utilize the 50-30-20 ratio. 50% of your calories from carbs, 30% from proteins, and 20% from fats! •
These 5 simple SECRETS to my success have allowed me to put lean muscle mass since high school when I started testing them. Of course you have to actually be LIFTING some heavy weight to create the growth too! Don’t forget that! •
