To celebrate the fact that this morning forty five new people started following my Facebook photography page, taking the total to 1021, here is a slightly larger than usual image of one of my favourite mountain views. This is Saipal, a tad over 7000m, seen from the last camp in the Chhungsa Kola valley in Humla before the Nyalu La crossing into Limi. The most remote and staggeringly beautiful corner of north-west Nepal. Taken in December 1994. Namasté!
Yesterday, I spent the day shooting images in my home town of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Here's one. Others on their way. See them all at PhilPeakephotography on my Facebook account. Thanks. #Skipton#fujixt1#fujifilm#velvia#yorkshiredales
