It’s getting colder and darker, which I’m sure to most makes you want to curl up on the sofa with comfort food and watch movies! If you’re struggling with motivation to get that workout in in the evening I’ve got some #toptips for you:
1️⃣ Get up that little bit earlier to squeeze a morning workout in. Whether this is going to the gym, for a run or doing a quick home workout.
2️⃣ Plan ahead at the beginning of the week. Write down when you’re going to workout and what you’re going to cook for dinner. This way you’re more like to stay focussed and on track.
3️⃣ Walk more. If you’re losing motivation to workout in the evening, just try and move more in the day. Get off the bus/tube one stop earlier or go for a walk on your lunch break.
4️⃣ Eat plenty of fruit and veg. Although the cold makes us crave comfort food which is usually chocolate 🙊 try and consume plenty of fruit and veg to help keep your immune system strong.
5️⃣ If you’re a member of a gym book on to evening classes to help keep you motivated.
Hope these little tips help boost your motivation for the cold winter months😊
