Suspension training is a great supplement to pilates because it’s such an unstable movement practice that it forces your deep muscles to activate to balance you. Those deep muscles can be hard to “find” otherwise!
At four months postpartum, after my c-section, I remember not being ready to attempt any suspension training yet. Way too unstable. Now at 6.5 months postpartum, I’m feeling so much stronger and able to rock this short flow!
