1 year 40 lbs apart and 12% body fat reduction, simple enough but the truth is..
At the time i was training 6 days a week and going hard in the gym.
All that effort as well as tracking calories and constantly jumping from one protocol to the next but not making hard progress in any one direction.
A few weeks I was deep into a Intermittent Fasting Protocol, the next month I was Carb Cycling, the next Low Carb, High Fat. I was always studying, researching and yet I was missing something.
All the while, spinning the hamster wheel, getting nowhere fast, sure I had lost over 40lbs by this point from my start point of 260lbs and I should have been happy, i wasn't.
It sounded simple, eat at what i believed a calorie deficit would be according to information online but in the real world, that information is useless without factoring in the individuality factor.
All nutrition is not made equal and a calorie isn't a calorie when you are striving to make constant gains, increase strength and conditioning as well as lose body fat while improving and preventing loose skin and poor elasticity. When you are heavy or overweight, losing weight is not enough.
