DAMPIER ARCHIPELAGO | WESTERN AUSTRALIA
So much has happened this year which I haven’t posted about. Once again, we found ourselves on the move to a new town. We are still in the Pilbara but now call Karratha home. When many people hear of Karratha they think of a mining town full of high vis clothing and I have to admit, before coming here this was my impression too. What a great surprise living here has been.
This is a great little town with a fantastic community and so many incredible opportunities for the kids.
We have the Dampier Archipelago on our doorstep - literally a 15 minute boat ride away and we have islands, crystal clear water and island shacks.
If we head inland we have amazing landscapes full of incredible outback colours, to the east we have Karijini, to the south we have Ningaloo and to the north the spectacular Kimberley.
Right now we feel so lucky to be able to explore another little corner of this amazing world.
