3 weeks since surgery, 3 weeks same brace, 3 weeks still on crutches, October 22nd hoping to start rehab.

FACTS: I also don’t listen to music because I’m the type when I go to the gym I check my phone sometimes in between sets which causes me to delay time in between sets.

Therefore it takes me that much longer to workout.

If you spend more than 45 min lifting weights you’re wasting too much time lifting.
-
If you can’t get a full workout in 45 min you’re probably fucking around on your stupid ass phone. These days we don’t bring in iPods because we have our music on our phones which has caused a lot of distractions.

Before phones we had cassette Walkmans in our fanny packs. That’s how we would listen to music so there were no distractions from it.

Not these days everyone is distracted. Don’t deny it either, I’m guilty of this too.🙋🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Phones are a HUGE distraction.

GET OFF YOUR PHONE YOUR HERE TO DO WORK!!

But if you like listening to your music by all means do it just don’t do what I do and check your phone after every set. I have a bad case of that due to my work is primarily based off my phone.

So I try not to bring it but clearly sometimes I have to and at times I do like listening to music.

But I really try not to and one last reason besides the fart noises 😂 I like helping people out from time to time on their exercises and when I’m plugged in I can tell people won’t come up to me.

When I’m unplugged people will come up to me, I was a one on one trainer for 10 years so helping people in the gym is a passion of mine. So I don’t mind people coming up to me for help. Guess I’m weird or maybe I just give a shit about people.🤷🏼‍♂️

Make sure to get all the reps in and don’t worry about weight, just do a weight you can handle and you’re able to get 10-15reps on each set.

You don’t need to go heavy doing this routine this shit is going to light your arms on fire!!

BUT ALWAYS AND I MEAN ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU’RE EATING RIGHT OR ELSE ALL THIS IS POINTLESS. #JustSaying 🤷🏼‍♂️

Who doesn’t like arm day?!?
-
So what’s the best way to train arms...
-
Well to be honest theres no best way but there are ways to train your arms.
-
Everyone has their preference on how they train therefore that’s why there isn’t a “best” way to train arms.
-
So here’s a few ways you can train your biceps and triceps.
-
One way is to split them and do biceps on back day because when you train back your secondary muscle is your biceps. Then training your triceps on chest day because your triceps are the secondary muscle for that muscle group.
-
Second way is to group them together and do biceps and triceps the same day. You can either train biceps first then do triceps second or you can superset the two.
-
By super setting you would do a bicep exercise then do a tricep exercise with very little rest in between the two body parts.
-
Third way is heavy or high volume. Me personally, I like to incorporate both heavy and high volume all depending on how I feel that day.
-
In the end it all comes down to what you like and what you feel works best for you. Remember there are no rules to working out you go by how you feel. Everyone trains differently and that’s totally ok.

In the end you’re doing this for yourself and no one else. Do what makes you happy and never forget that. 💪🏻😁💪🏻
