Face Ur Run- your race, your pace.
Not sure I'm ready... but I'm ready... 1st FULL Marathon is 164 days away.
There are no words to explain the pain and excitement I was feeling before the race, during and still.
One of the photos shows me damn near having an asthma attack. I don't use my inhaler unless I have to. From mile 7-10 I kept calculating if I could run a Sub 3. How fast did I need these miles to be?
Once I got to mile 11 I knew it wasn't happening. I was in pain and couldn't pinpoint what was wrong.
Despite having to face myself for allowing a Sub 3 to slip from my feet.... by Mile 13 all I could think was "don't slip... you don't want a photo finish of you falling." Well.... I didn't fall.
3:07:36- I DID FINISH!!
