I’ve been committed to an 80 day challenge program. Yes, dialed in nutrition and guided workouts for 80 days! Do you think it’s been easy for me to workout by myself? To not give in to cravings? I’ve cried and grown completely frustrated some days. It’s a challenge because if it were easy, everyone would do it!! It’s not easy, but it gets easier!! 🙌🏼 The hardest part is nutrition...which is the biggest piece to the puzzle. It is the NUMBER ONE reason why people cannot reach their goals. You can exercise all day everyday but if you’re not eating properly, you will not see or the feel the changes you want. We HAVE to eat the right amounts of nutrient dense foods to fuel our metabolism!

Trying to change up the routine and switch to AM running... these pics are from 6am- we woke up early enough to get in two miles before work. I was planning on a few more post work, but honestly... I feel defeated today. I feel sad, and angry. I miss Nat a lot. I don’t know why, but it seems to just be hitting me now. It will pass. Everything will be ok. I have lots of good in my life- my family, my pets, a place to live, food. Time will continue to heal. It’s hard when the grieve hits randomly. I’m ready to move out of this house. Stop walking by her empty room. His few things still scattered about. Forgiveness will fill in the gaps like superglue. When I heard it was going to warm up this week, I got excited thinking about getting outside to run... but it’s supposed to rain all week. 😫 It poured rain through my whole #workout this morning. I got in a little extra sleep and then hit the gym for a great three part workout. Hit some higher weights in strength training, followed that up with some low intensity steady state hill Work, and then finally some time on the mat (and of course some sauna time!). .

A little @mrrayfit and some @sultanphyzique. My fav combo.
Today I did the squats with weights at the gym. Normally I do strength at home cause I think I’m not as badass as all the other people up there with weights, so I rather do it in private at home, so I don’t look foolish, but inspired by @k.pac.noon , I want to overcome that line of thoughts and limitations. And so I did. Taking baby steps. Next goal is to do a full upper body stretch session up there 😯 Modified the crunch, at core standards, to legs up in the air and crunch, couldn’t go full down and up, meeting in the middle with the legs. #Aptiv #teamaaptiv #gettingitdone #fibromyalgiawarrior #goalsetting

Elliptical with Kelly and a quick run with Ed. It was nice not to have any incline changes for the elliptical as the ones at Planet Fitness don’t have that option. I was able to go full-out at the 6.5 for the treadmill workout but then had to back down on the recovery afterwards to catch my breath.

Working Tues - Fri and then have the weekend off 💃🏻 💃🏻 💃🏻 Working 2/4 weekends is a drag but it makes the weekends off even better! I’m going to start @laurengleisberg’s #30x30 2.0 today. My last attempt got sidelined by long work days 🤞🏼 I’ll be able to carve out more time/energy this time!
