I wanted to share this clip from a few weeks ago with you all. I had just finished teaching another #WorshipWithWhit & went LIVE on Facebook with @taylormadem about having Net-Breaking Faith. I was teaching from Luke 5 (please go read it!), and I can honestly say, studying it again that day really shifted something in me.
I know what it’s like to feel alone in your walk. I know what it’s like to be incredibly discouraged by what you don’t have or could not accomplish in the past. .
I know what it’s like to be too afraid, too disappointed and too tired to not only hope again, but trust God again. .
But I also know what it’s like to have the faith to MOVE, even when you don’t yet understand (just like Simon). While studying, I was reminded that we don’t have to walk alone. Even in our apparent failures, Jesus will still meet us where we are, teach us, instruct us, and bless us — with even more than we really even believed for.
And then, it’s up to us to have more faith in God than we do in our circumstances — including our blessings! .
At the end of the day, I just want to have faith so strong that I can pick up and MOVE when God says go, rather than be so attached to what I might have to leave behind. .
If you feel a tugging in your spirit to step out on faith, I encourage you to do so. It might just be everything you ever dreamed of and prayed for, but didn’t yet have the strength to believe in. If you’re in need of prayer tonight, feel free to DM me.😘 Shout out to @fiercecatherine for creeping that day & recording this short clip.😂❤️
