👉There's two main components that go into building an aesthetic physique. The first of which is balance ⚖️ Balance is how well your physique flows, how well everything sits together. As a sculptor would with their art work, look at yourself objectively and ask if one piece stands out more than the others, or if the whole piece is a standout. Another term for this would be proportion. The idea is to have nothing overly dominating, nothing should appear out of place, and everything should sit as if were placed with intention.
Now, keep in mind that this 'perfection' is an arbitrary concept that is not necessarily attainable. However, their are mathematical cues found in nature of what 'beauty' looks like. The idea of the golden ratio coined by Leonardo da Vinci which is based around the Fibonacci sequence for one. Not to mention, it's incredibly hard not to find symmetry appeasing. Which brings us to the second component, that being symmetry. This one is fairly self-explanatory. There's something rather remarkable and awe striking about symmetry. It's uncommon, and as a result, is very hard not to appreciate.
Those two things, namely balance and symmetry, will be two largely determining factors to overall aesthetics. Now, that's all well and dandy in theory, but how do we apply that in practice? Well, the idea is to gain the skill of the sculptor. By looking at yourself objectively, like a work of art, and deciding where to add mass and where to find it down a little. We will all have genetic strengths and weaknesses within our physiques, that's 100% for certain. Therefore, the idea would be to bring up those said weaklings so they are level with the strengths. Ultimately creating a more balanced and symmetrical physique 💎
