Another busy week and I almost forgot #transformationtuesday! Last night was our staff Christmas party so naturally, I wanted to compare it to last year - even though it’s not a drastic #transformation. Last year, I was up almost 20lbs from my lowest and was feeling pretty crummy about it all. My clothes weren’t fitting, I lost my motivation, and I was using food to cope. I know how crazy that sounds, eating because you’re depressed and feeling fat - #welcometomyworld. This year, while I’m busy and not feeling the holidays like I normally do, I’m feeling really good about my journey and where I am in it - over 75lbs down! Sure, I still have another 25 I want to lose, but I’m starting to get that confidence back that I’ve been lacking for far too long. That is a win - any day, all day. I say all this to remind you that we ALL fall off the wagon. We ALL struggle with yoyoing. And, we ALL get tired of the constant tracking, workouts, etc. That is no reason to give up on yourself. If you need a break - take it! But, don’t quit. Don’t get so discouraged that you lose sight of what’s really important - your health and well-being, regardless of the size. Find the balance between enjoying life, but not overindulging too much. Everything is ok in moderation. Don’t beat yourself up. This lifestyle is NOT easy and you are doing great! Stay the course.
