“Derrick Adams: Patrick Kelly, The Journey” at @nyplcounteecullen has been extended through February 23 🙂🙂🙂 @yung_oprah spoke with @derrickadamsny in our latest issue of Studio magazine about Adams’s first encounters with the designer and similar approaches in their work. I first heard about Kelly while working at a fashion/music magazine. As with many friends, discovering him was a revelation. He was brilliant, bold, beautiful and broke all the rules. I’m so happy Adams has envisioned him in this context and introduced many more people to Patrick Kelly, the designer and artist. Thank you Derrick. Thank you Deidre. Grab a copy of Studio and go see this show 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 #studiomuseummag #studiomuseum #inharlem
