Yesterdays special event was excellent. All the guys and girls who came showed up to work. I got lucky and everyone was very well conditioned and capable in the gym.

Deload squat. Two second pause squat with 140kg for 4 reps. minor back injury has been troubling me for last two weeks but i won't let it debilitate me. Its just a minor setback for a major comeback. That's why i decided to take it slow and add a deload week to my regimen.

A manipulação adequada das variáveis do treinamento de força como o volume, intensidade, ordem dos exercícios, intervalos de recuperação e velocidade de execução é o ponto chave para obtenção de bons resultados, prevenção de lesões e adesão ao programa de treinamento. Em relação ao dispêndio energético, o volume de treinamento é a variável de maior influência. Quando o volume de treinamento é equalizado, sessões de maior intensidade de carga possuem dispêndio energético similar à sessões de menor intensidade. Desta forma, se o objetivo é aumentar o dispêndio energético da sessão de treinamento, maiores volumes devem ser utilizados.
Obs.: Volume = n° de repetições x n° de séries x carga.
