150kg for a single after heavy buildup sets. .
Does anyone else use a wider squat stance? My feet are placed wider than my hips and it feels stable for me. I see other people with a closer stance and wonder how they do it. .
I closed the squat sesh off with another 150 single followed by 130 for 3 sets of 4. .

Lil accessory from my last #chest session: - 243lb / 110kg x 5 high pause bench press
I haven’t ever tried these before and found them quite tough. I tried to pause the bar at around an inch off my chest. I’m hoping his translates into strength through my reps 🤙

Different accessory form last #deadlift session: - 397lb / 180 kg sumo deadlifts

After my working sets at 255kg, I dropped down to 220kg for 3x8 to get some volume into the session. Then I backed it down to 180kg for some sumos!!! Again this should help me improve my lockout. Not sure I really liked it as I struggled to find a comfortable hand position (watch my thumbs) and the bar has given me a rash on my quads. Ttp though (No sounds because apparently the gym music is copyrighted)

Exercise of the week - Walking Weighted Lunges

An incredibly effective and easy to learn exercise that challenges your muscles and improves your balance. Lunges should definitely play a part in your strength training and here are reasons why:

🏋♀Targets the biggest muscles on your legs and your glutes(bum) and also your upper body - your grip, core and upper back

🏋♀you can hold your weights on sides, above your head, on your shoulders, in front of you, etc. Changing technique you can target different body parts and increase/decrease overall difficulty.

Lunges are quite easy to perform however I can see people do them improperly. Most common mistake is that they step on the toes instead of heels, which places more stress on the knee.
