Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, music, arts, and wisdom. She is believed to be the one that leads to the essence of self-knowledge, and is celebrated as the feminine deity associated with the healing and purifying power of flowing water.

Durga is considered the Warrior Goddess. She combats negative forces that threaten peace, prosperity, and good will. Durga is also known as the protective mother goddess, and will go to any extreme to support liberation and creation.

Lakshmi is the goddess of abundance, wealth, fortune, and prosperity. In the ancient scriptures of India, all women are said to be embodiments of her. Lakshmi’s iconography shows her with four hands that represent the four most important goals of human life, including dharma (duty), kāma (desire), artha (purpose), and moksha (liberation).

Kali is power and energy, and represents the darkness from which everything is born. She is depicted in all black, eyes red, hair disheveled, eyes rolling, and tongue sticking out. She is also worshipped as the goddess of nature preservation. Despite her frightening form, Kali is considered the great and loving primordial goddess, and is often referred to as Kali Ma.
