Last weekend, I had the pleasure to attend the first major exhibition of the Swedish artist Hilma af Klint’s work at the Guggenheim. It also happened to be my first visit to the museum ever and it definitely set a standard. Just being inside such an iconic building given to us by the immortal Frank Lloyd Wright alone was an experience. Topped with some amazing artwork and an inkling of museology, I left satisfied and inspired. Which in my opinion, is one of the many beautiful gifts a museum can give the world.
