Self-care is self-love. And self-love is not selfish. If you put taking care of your body, mind and spirit in order to feel your best for yourself and that in turn gives you the ability to optimally care and love other people around you, how can that be selfish? To feel and do your best, take care of yourself...Body, mind and soul.
At age 25 (3 years ago), I got sick a lot, I was pre-diabetic, had high cholesterol, had irritable bowel, stressed and anxious. It didn’t look like it, but I was what they call a “skinny fat person”, lol. So just because you look healthy on the outside, doesn’t mean you’re healthy on the inside! So listen to what your body is telling you, and get annual prevention check ups and lab work!
And it wasn’t until I fell in love with taking care of myself by nourishing my body with healing foods and got active, mindful meditation and positive thinking, and daily prayers to God that I healed all those things and truly felt my best self. And I’ve never felt better 🙏🏽 And that’s why I stay taking care of myself...because it feels toooo deng good 😌
Learn to take care of your body; it’s the only body that you’re going to be living in the rest of your life, so take good care of it!
