To all music enthusiasts, Snarky’s often recognized as the “Best album” is back on streaming. But do them a favor, and buy the CD, DVD, Digipack or Vinyl, as the streaming times we live in benefits all the users, but not the artists that are struggling putting out music they love instead of hit wonders to sell.
Michael League brings up a good point, as many musicians are going to site such as kickstarter and crowdfunding to have a chance to survive, and the fact that so little money is made from streaming means less to pay people. And with a band consisting of 10-20 award winning musicians, paying all of them, the guys and girls behind their rig and everyone in their crew is a heavy task.
So help them out, and buy a CD or something, and then sprinkle streams on too for that extra money they could be cashed in from streaming. It won’t be much, but I’ll be finishing the year listening only to Snarky Puppy on my Spotify, so let’s see how well the WrappedUp would look when GroundUp invades. Much love and good luck all the members on the label, crew and fellow artists of all genres working together, you exceed in quality and I’m glad you all try to make us happy by having the music streamlined. I would say it’s our turn now, to pay you guys back for the hard work.
My goal is set to reach 50 000 minutes worth of streaming until New Years(Barely clocking 30 000 as of now, so I have around 7000 minutes I can lose), wish me luck on that! 🎧
