Hands down, this was the best Falafel I’ve ever had. These golden, fluffy balls of garbanzo beans, spices of buttery goodness were light & steaming as they popped them into my house-made pita bread. My favorite part was choosing what to put into my Falafel hot pocket from a dozen offerings. It was so hard to choose! In the end, I went with the roasted eggplants, homemade chili paste, roasted garlic sauce, and a beautiful green Za’atar garlic sauce, and then added house-made pickles from bite to bite. Israel is peppered with world-class Falafel stands like, which alone, makes it worthwhile to visit this beautiful & enigmatic country.
