Simple dinner on the menu for tonight 🍠
Sweet potato, chickpeas, and quinoa is one of my favorite dinner combos especially when there’s lots of avo involved 👌🏻
Fun fact: I was supposed to run a half marathon at 7:30 this morning, but instead I slept in until 9 and completed my day as usual.
After the marathon, I felt really motivated to do more races, so I signed up for two and didn’t do either 🙈
I think it’s so important to listen to your body, and frankly, mine just needed a break!
Exercise does not have to be super intense to be effective, and sometimes the really intense exercise is more than our bodies can handle.
I love running and plan on doing several more marathons in my life, but for now, I’m taking it much easier and am more than okay with that ✌🏻
I’m still running, but more so just for the thrill of it and not to push my body to the absolute limit✨
