Well guys. I enjoy dairy too much to avoid it completely. I'll still follow the rest of the low FODMAPs suggestions, but I'm eating dairy. At least heavy whipping cream & cheddar. I may limit my dairy consumption to those 2 things, since I know they don't seem to bother me in small quantities. .
So, in the mornings I usually make a huge batch of pancakes and/or waffles (see recent posts for recipes) and leave them on the counter after breakfast. Various family members and I will usually grab them as a quick snack throughout the day. Hey, if I leave healthy things out, my toddler eats well when I'm not looking! .
I splurged with a little almond butter & strawberry preserves (just fruit) in a waffle sandwich. It was divine! 9 net carbs per Tbsp of the jam though. Ouch. I won't do it often. #butitwasgood .
