I’ve put this workout off for a long time. But this phase of #RSPCHISELED requires a partner. And my cousin as you can see has lifted a few weights in his days. Needless to say, he does pyramids with bench and this was the first time I tried to climb the pyramid 😁 my chest and shoulders are burning. But I knew what I was getting myself into and that’s why I called him up. Had a blast and now that I’m over my fear of big weights, I’ll be joining him and his wife for weekend workouts!! Don't forget that brief pause at the top of your lift to add that little bit of extra tension....THAT is where your muscles get their GAINZZZ .
I also recommend trying to find a gym buddy to film you....so difficult trying to do the exercise right while holding the camera still 😂😂

Post workout nutrition is vital as it aids the muscles to repair, maintain and therefore grow so post training nutrition shouldn't be pushed aside to ensure the benefits from training are maximised. When getting your protein intake it doesn't always have to be the same boring shake that you force glug down after every workout. For someone like me who doesn't like milk and simply cannot drink it without it effecting digestion, mixing things up and having smoothies is the perfect way to refuel after training (And they're super tasty too which does help😛) -------------------------------------------------

Prepping my meals is one thing that helps me stay on track as there is no room for me to sway and nibble on things I shouldn't be at 8 weeks out and at the start of RSP chiseled phase 1. Here I have the food that I'll be taking with me to college tomorrow to spread out between 7am and 5:30pm. I will have breakfast before I leave at 5am and tea when I get home after training at roughly 8pm. So what I have is: whey banana cream optimum nutrition protein for post workout, a boiled egg, a apple, a banana, a wholewheat pitta, reduced fat houmous, spinach, garlic and herb chicken and for my sweet tooth that will kick in late afternoon apricot wheat pillows from Lidl and oh my are these incredible ( recommended by @elledarbyfit ) 😛😛 -------------------------------------------------
