We all love to be in our comfort zone right? But being in our comfort zone all the time isn’t going to take us places, teach us new things or help us to grow. It is outside of our comfort zones that we learn about ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses.
A goal of mine for a while has been to travel solo, and preferably find a travel group to go with. For years nothing has worked out in terms of timing etc. Last week I told my Mom that if anyone buys me anything for my 30th, all I want is travel money... WELL, yesterday while surfing through Instagram, I found a travel group, for individuals who love fitness.
I decided to look at their website, and the first trip I see is Costa Rica (my dream). I got super excited, and then quickly bummed thinking it was probably during school. But, what do you know? It perfectly coincides with our winter vacation here in NY. I continued reading.. yoga daily, optional workouts, excursions, taco Tuesday, sloth seeing.. what could be better? I called my mom within less than 10 minutes and said “I’m going to Costa Rica in February, with no one I know”, told her a bit about it, hung up and signed myself up!
Put the things out into the universe that you want to happen. They WILL show up (ok, maybe not the million dollars, but..), and when they do don’t be scared to act on them. Take the things the universe gives you, and know that it’s there for a reason. I am beyond excited to check off two bucket list items: travel solo ☑️ go to Costa Rica ☑️. Do all the things that scare you and light you up friends ❤️
