This was me the day after Thanksgiving last year, then 3 days later after I completed a cleanse. 😮

I didn’t really over indulge on Thanksgiving because I didn’t want to throw away all the hard work I had put in all year, but I did eat a little bit of all the traditional items...which even though it was only a little, led to my stomach being bloated and me feeling uncomfortable. 🤢
.
Y’all, I have to eat, like all the time, or I get hangry. 😖 So, needless to say, I was a bit nervous about a cleanse. But, hey, it is only 3 days. I can do anything for 3 days, right? 😬
.
To my surprise, I could actually eat on this cleanse and still drink my superfood shake! 🙌 Sure, I did feel a little hungry at times but it wasn’t something that drinking some water couldn’t fix. And, the best part was how I felt and looked afterward! So fresh and so clean. 😊

This happens more than you’d think on a regular basis at @monogramco & so excited to try this coffee beer that Monogram works with a local brewery to create! I went to a liquor store yesterday trying to find it and they ran out so I’m glad to get some today hehe 😆

I am super late but, after spending our first weekend home after our 3 week long honeymoon and spending the day with these 2 - I am thankful for:

1. Being married to Brad. Suki is the cherry on top.
2. The support I had all week from Brad, knowing I was stressed AF going back to work. He made dinner every night, without being asked even after having long days himself.

3. Even after arguing or bickering, I still get a big hug that I sometimes feel I don't deserve.
4. Being able to sleep and wake up next to a person that supports and loves me, unconditionally.

5. Our health. Our life. Our home.

These are things (among others) that I sometimes take for granted.
Always show your appreciation for your loved ones. Sometimes saying "Thank You" is not enough. I love and appreciate you everyday, Brad. @btgunn

Soup is a post-thanksgiving staple 😜🍲🥄Are you with me?

I made a huge batch of turkey bone broth by placing all my turkey bones and carcass in my instant pot, filling full of water (approx 4 L) and adding 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar to help extract more minerals from the bones. I cooked this on high pressure for 1.5 hours and allowed a natural release of pressure (you can also make an amazing bone broth in your crock pot on low heat for 12+ hours). The result, a super gelatinous, hearty broth that I then turned into a turkey vegetable soup 😍
