Repost from @physicalgrain
This photo is from my expired large format film series of Texas. Spent a lot of time on the road over the last few months documenting Texas for a book and exhibitions and this photo was made at the tail end of a 2300-mile trip.
Made 117 exposures that trip. Was tired but had to keep stopping along Highway 287, where this is, on the way back down home from north of Amarillo where I'd started that day. Made quite a few exposures that last night on the road. I'd photographed this location before, with Fuji 3000b peel-apart film and my Land Camera 250, and that photo can be seen in my last book.
It's fun to sometimes repeat photos at different times and with different films and from different angles. Highway 287 is a gem, and the lighting here to me is pretty special. f/8, 15-second exposure.
